How is eSIM different from a traditional SIM card?
The main difference is that eSIM exists only in a virtual (electronic) format. It doesn’t need to be inserted into a slot — it’s embedded in the mobile device’s circuit board. As a result, it cannot be physically damaged or lost. Functionally, however, eSIM performs the same tasks: it enables the user to connect to a mobile operator’s network.
